**Recent model consensus points to a moderating influence from increased cloud cover and showers on September 15, keeping Taipei’s daytime maximum near or below 30 °C.** Official guidance from Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration and multiple numerical forecasts show highs of 27–30 °C under mostly cloudy skies with 70–95 % rain probability, driven by a strengthening northeasterly flow and an approaching frontal boundary. This contrasts with the clearer, hotter conditions observed on September 13–14 (highs 31–33 °C). Persistent cloudiness limits surface heating while evaporative cooling from rain further caps temperatures, producing the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities around 27–31 °C. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will be the key variables that could shift odds toward either the lower or higher end of the current distribution.
