**Latest National Weather Service and GFS-based forecasts for Miami on September 16 point to an overnight low near 80°F, shaped by persistent easterly to northeasterly flow and elevated atmospheric moisture that restricts nighttime radiational cooling.** High dew points in the mid- to upper 70s combined with partial cloud cover from scattered thunderstorms are expected to keep the minimum from dropping sharply, aligning closely with the market's leading 78–79°F and 80–81°F bins. Model consensus shows limited day-to-day variability in steering winds, though any earlier or more widespread precipitation could nudge readings slightly lower within the 76–81°F range. Historical September 16 averages near 77°F provide context, but the current pattern lacks the clearer, drier conditions that typically produce cooler minima. Traders are weighting the most recent model guidance and official briefings, with updates from the 00Z or 12Z runs likely to refine the exact threshold before resolution.
