Nayarit’s 2027 gubernatorial contest remains wide open more than a year before the vote, with trader prices reflecting a fragmented field where no single contender exceeds low-30s implied probability. Early polling among potential Morena aspirants shows Héctor Santana García ahead in voting intention, yet multiple other names—including Julieta Mejía Ibáñez and Hilaria Domínguez Arvizu—register measurable support, while candidates from Movimiento Ciudadano and other parties add further dispersion. Internal party selection processes, coalition negotiations, and the absence of consolidated polling across the full electorate continue to limit clarity. Upcoming nomination conventions and any shifts in state-level alliances could quickly reorder preferences ahead of the general election.
