Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 12 indicate a high in the low-to-mid 80s under partly cloudy skies, with only a modest chance of afternoon showers. This aligns with the market's near-even split between the 82-83°F and 84-85°F bins, reflecting model consensus on modest cooling from the prior week's 90s readings as a weak front approaches. Key differentiators include daytime cloud cover, which limits peak heating, and light easterly winds that may enhance or suppress mixing depending on exact timing. Historical September averages near 80°F provide context, but current dry soils and residual warmth support the upper end of the favored range unless stronger cloud build-up develops overnight. Updated NHC and NWS model runs tomorrow morning will refine these details ahead of resolution.
