**Persistent tropical moisture and widespread cloud cover are keeping overnight minimum temperatures elevated across Miami ahead of August 30.** Latest model consensus from the National Weather Service and other sources points to a low in the low-to-mid 80s°F, driven by a moist maritime air mass, east-southeast winds, and frequent showers that limit radiational cooling. This setup favors the 80–81°F bin (currently the market leader) while leaving room for 78–79°F if any brief clearing occurs overnight. Higher outcomes (82°F+) remain possible under continued overcast conditions and heavy rain, whereas cooler readings below 78°F would require an atypical dry slot or stronger northerly flow not currently indicated. Resolution hinges on the precise timing and intensity of convection through the night, with official observations from Miami International Airport serving as the benchmark. Historical August 30 lows average near 77–78°F, but the current pattern reflects above-normal minimums typical of late-summer tropical regimes.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
