Incumbent Republican Roger Williams, who has represented Texas’s 25th congressional district since 2013 and chairs the House Small Business Committee, faces Democrat Dione Sims in the November 3, 2026 general election. The district’s R+11 partisan voting index and consistent Republican performance in recent cycles underpin the 87.5% trader consensus on a Republican win. Williams secured renomination in the March 3 primary without notable opposition, while Sims advanced after her March primary victory. Cook Political Report rates the seat Solid Republican, reflecting structural advantages such as incumbency, fundraising capacity, and alignment with the district’s voter base. No major late-cycle developments or shifts in polling have altered this positioning ahead of the fall campaign.
