Incumbent Republican Beth Van Duyne secured her party's nomination without opposition in the March 2026 primary for Texas's 24th congressional district, while Democrat Kevin Burge advanced through a May runoff to become his party's nominee. The suburban Dallas-Fort Worth district carries an R+8 partisan voter index and has favored Republican candidates by double-digit margins in recent cycles. Nonpartisan forecasters rate the seat Solid or Safe Republican, citing the district's voter composition and limited national Democratic investment. With the November 3 general election approaching and no major shifts in polling, candidate controversies, or redistricting altering the baseline, trader consensus aligns with a strong Republican advantage in the race.
