Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 26 indicate mostly sunny conditions with a high near 84°F, driven by building high pressure and reduced moisture after midweek showers. This setup favors afternoon warming under clear skies, consistent with late-September climatology where highs average 75–78°F but can exceed that during dry, subsident regimes. The closely matched market probabilities around cooler versus much warmer thresholds reflect ongoing uncertainty in short-range model guidance, including potential shifts in wind direction, boundary-layer mixing, or residual cloud cover that could trim or boost peak readings by several degrees. Updated NWS briefings and observational trends over the next 48 hours will likely refine these ranges ahead of resolution.
