This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Taipei Songshan Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 26 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Taipei Songshan Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/tw/taipei/RCSS. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent forecast guidance from global and regional models shows partly cloudy skies and light westerly flow over Taipei on September 26, supporting daytime maxima near 33–35 °C under a weakening northeast monsoon and strengthening subtropical ridge. This late-summer “autumn tiger” pattern delivers intense solar heating around midday while reduced moisture allows stronger nighttime radiative cooling, widening the diurnal range. Central Weather Administration guidance currently favors a peak near 33 °C, yet ensemble spreads reflect uncertainty in cloud cover and exact wind shift timing. Traders are weighting outcomes around 34–36 °C most heavily because small changes in insolation or boundary-layer mixing can shift the observed high by 1–2 °C before official verification.
