This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Minister Pistarini Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 5 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=saez If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast models indicate a cool overnight period for Buenos Aires on September 5, driven by southwesterly winds advecting cooler air and clear to partly cloudy skies promoting radiative cooling.** Multiple sources, including Met Office and Worldmeteo guidance, point to a minimum around 4–5°C, with some runs (e.g., weather-forecast.com) dipping to 3°C or lower under optimal clear-sky conditions, supporting the leading 41.5% market-implied probability for 3°C or below. Recent developments include a passing cold front that has shifted winds from northwest to southwest, lowering daytime highs to the low teens and setting up stronger nocturnal temperature drops compared to the prior mild early-September pattern. Historical September baselines for the city typically feature overnight lows near 8–10°C, so current conditions represent a notable but not extreme deviation. Uncertainty remains in exact minimums due to variable cloud cover and wind speeds in model ensembles; warmer scenarios above 10°C carry lower odds (under 10%) unless steering patterns shift. Key upcoming data include the next NHC/NOAA or local Servicio Meteorológico Nacional model runs and overnight observations, which could refine probabilities before market resolution.
