Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate an overnight low for Dallas on September 17 near 79–83°F under mostly clear skies, south-southeast winds of 5–10 mph, and elevated dew points near 68–70°F that limit radiational cooling. This warm, humid air mass—consistent with the ongoing late-summer pattern of highs in the upper 90s—positions the 82–83°F bin as the market leader at 69.5% implied probability, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 69.6°F. Traders appear to weigh the consensus model guidance and recent minimum temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s more heavily than seasonal norms, with negligible odds assigned to extremes above 86°F.
