Incumbent Democrat Grace Meng seeks re-election in New York’s 6th Congressional District, a Queens-based seat with a Partisan Voter Index of D+6 that has consistently favored Democratic candidates. The district’s voter composition and Meng’s prior general election performance of 60.7 percent underpin the 93.5 percent trader consensus for a Democratic outcome. A Republican nominee, Joseph Chou, has filed for the November 3 general election but faces structural headwinds in a district rated Solid Democratic by nonpartisan analysts. The June 23 Democratic primary, pitting Meng against challengers including Chuck Park, is the immediate procedural step; its winner is expected to prevail in the general election absent an unforeseen shift in turnout or national conditions. Late developments such as a primary upset or unusually strong Republican mobilization could narrow the margin, though historical patterns in this district make such changes unlikely.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
