Current National Weather Service and ensemble model forecasts for Miami on September 3 point to overnight lows near 80–81°F, driven by high humidity, persistent cloud cover from scattered thunderstorms, and light easterly flow that limits radiative cooling. This aligns with the market’s leading 80–81°F outcome at 40% implied probability. Historical September climatology shows average lows near 77°F, yet recent model runs have trended warmer amid above-normal sea-surface temperatures and weak steering patterns. Traders appear to weigh the narrow window for any late-day cooling against the risk of heavier rain bands, while lower-probability outcomes below 75°F or above 90°F reflect residual uncertainty in short-range guidance ahead of daily NOAA forecast updates.
