Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Houston will experience continued above-normal warmth on September 25 under a ridge of high pressure promoting mostly sunny skies, light northeast winds around 5 mph, and minimal cloud cover that favors strong daytime heating. With dew points in the mid-70s, afternoon temperatures are projected in the mid-90s at official sites like Bush Intercontinental, well above the late-September climatological average near 87°F. Trader consensus clustering on 90–93°F reflects model agreement on these conditions while acknowledging small uncertainties from potential afternoon convection, slight variations in boundary-layer mixing, or urban heat-island effects that could nudge the daily maximum across bin thresholds. Updated NHC and local forecast discussions expected in the next 24–48 hours will refine these details ahead of market resolution.
