Recent monsoon activity, including persistent low-pressure systems drawing moisture from the Bay of Bengal, has produced widespread cloud cover, thunderstorms, and rainfall across Uttar Pradesh, suppressing daytime heating in Lucknow. Official forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and international models converge on a maximum of 30–32°C for September 4, with recent daily highs near 30–31°C remaining below seasonal norms due to reduced insolation and evaporative cooling. Trader consensus reflected in the market-implied odds favors 31°C as the most likely outcome, consistent with ensemble guidance showing limited intensification potential before the next frontal passage. Updated model runs and IMD briefings expected overnight will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
