Recent ensemble forecasts from European meteorological centers point to a daily maximum in Milan on September 18 most likely between 22–24 °C, supported by a weakening high-pressure ridge and light southerly advection from the Mediterranean that limits daytime heating. Short-range model consensus is tight given the 24-hour lead time, yet small differences in boundary-layer moisture or afternoon cloud development could easily shift the peak by 1–2 °C. This range aligns with climatological September norms for the Po Valley and explains the closely matched market probabilities across 22 °C, 23 °C, and 24 °C outcomes. Final station observations will resolve the market once the day ends.
