**Forecast models indicate a sunny day with light southerly winds and building high pressure supporting a Seattle high temperature most likely in the 68–71°F range on September 18.** Official guidance and ensemble runs show clear skies and modest daytime heating under stable conditions typical for mid-September, with afternoon peaks driven by solar insolation and minimal marine influence. Slight variations across models—some resolving 70–72°F while others hold closer to 68–69°F—stem from differences in boundary-layer mixing and exact timing of any thin high clouds. These uncertainties explain the tight clustering of market-implied odds around the leading bins, as traders weigh historical September maxima near 70°F against the current stable pattern and upcoming model updates from NWS and global centers.
