Persistent high pressure and southerly flow across North Texas have sustained above-normal temperatures in Dallas, with recent days reaching 102°F amid clear skies and low humidity. Official forecasts for September 9 center on a high near 99–101°F under sunny conditions, aligning with the market’s tight split between the 98–99°F and 100–101°F brackets. Limited afternoon mixing and heat-index values near 107°F support the slight edge for the lower bin, while any modest model shift toward stronger warming could favor the upper range. Historical September 9 highs average 91.5°F, underscoring the anomalous warmth, though no major pattern change is expected before evening.
