**Clear skies and building high pressure are positioning Seattle for a highest temperature on September 17 most likely in the mid-70s.** Official National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate sunny conditions with light northerly winds and offshore flow, supporting afternoon highs around 73–75°F—slightly above the long-term average of about 70°F for the date. Recent cooling early in September has given way to this stabilization, with minimal cloud cover and low precipitation chances allowing efficient daytime heating. Marine air influence keeps extremes in check, while microclimate variations around Sea-Tac or downtown could nudge readings within a degree or two. Traders have concentrated implied probability on 74–75°F (50.5%) and adjacent bins, reflecting tight agreement in current guidance ahead of final observations.
