Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources converge on clear skies, light variable winds, and high pressure promoting modest overnight radiational cooling for Houston on September 18, positioning the minimum temperature most likely in the 76–79°F range. This aligns with the market’s leading implied probabilities for 78–79°F (40.5%) and 76–77°F (30%), reflecting trader assessment of typical late-September humidity and dew points near 70°F that limit further drops. Recent stability in the subtropical ridge has kept conditions warmer than seasonal averages without frontal passages or cloud cover to alter the trajectory, while upcoming evening observations will refine the exact low before market resolution.
