Forecast models from agencies like the Japan Meteorological Agency indicate Tokyo’s overnight low on August 13 will likely settle near 22–23 °C, supported by expected cloud cover, scattered showers, and light northeasterly winds that limit radiative cooling. These conditions align with typical mid-August climatology, where average minimums hover around 23–24 °C amid high humidity and urban heat retention. Recent model runs show little deviation, keeping the 23 °C outcome as the market frontrunner at 49.5 % implied probability, followed closely by 24 °C. Updated guidance on precipitation timing or wind shifts could nudge temperatures slightly lower if skies clear briefly overnight, though current consensus favors the narrow 22–24 °C range for resolution.
