Recent opinion polls for Sweden's September 13, 2026 parliamentary election show the Social Democratic Party maintaining a clear lead near 32 percent, positioning it for first place. Sweden Democrats hold steady second-place support around 20 percent, ahead of the Moderate Party near 17 percent, reflecting sustained voter preferences amid coalition dynamics in the multi-party system. The current government bloc trails the opposition overall, with limited recent shifts in bloc or party trends over the past month reinforcing trader consensus on the Sweden Democrats securing second. Key factors include consistent polling averages across major surveys and the absence of major late-campaign catalysts that could alter relative standings before election day.
