This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 3 Apr '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Singapore Changi Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/sg/singapore/WSSS. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors 33°C as Singapore's highest temperature on April 3, 2026, with market-implied odds at 98.4%, driven by National Environment Agency (NEA) observations showing an early peak of 33.3°C at Newton station around midday amid inter-monsoon conditions. The NEA's latest fortnightly outlook forecasts daily maximums of 33–35°C through mid-April, but thundery showers expected over northern and western areas this afternoon—boosted by light winds and Sumatra squalls—should increase cloud cover and suppress further heating. Recent precedents include March 30's 35.4°C record, yet typical equatorial humidity and baseline April highs near 32°C reinforce the 33°C positioning. A realistic challenge would require prolonged clear skies and minimal rainfall, allowing inland stations like Changi Airport (key for resolution) to exceed 34°C before evening. Updated hourly forecasts from NEA later today could shift sentiment.
