Recent forecasts from Singapore's Meteorological Service and international models indicate peak temperatures on September 5 likely reaching 32–34°C under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions, with fair to partly cloudy skies and light southeasterly winds limiting cloud cover and allowing strong daytime heating. Official outlooks project daily maxima in the 33–35°C range amid below-average rainfall and elevated regional haze potential, though localized afternoon showers could moderate extremes. Historical September averages near 31°C and current model consensus support the market's heavy weighting toward 33°C as the implied mode, with limited divergence expected before final observational data from Changi or other stations resolve the exact daily high.
