Recent forecasts from sources including the National Weather Service and private models show Denver highs for September 3 centering on 88–92 °F under mostly sunny skies and light winds, aligning with trader emphasis on the 90–93 °F bins. A building upper-level ridge promotes subsidence warming and clear conditions that suppress cloud cover and allow strong daytime heating, while Denver’s Front Range location adds potential downslope warming on easterly flow. Model spreads of 3–5 °F arise from slight differences in boundary-layer mixing and exact wind direction, with limited moisture keeping precipitation chances low. Historical September averages near 84 °F provide context, but current synoptic setup supports readings several degrees above normal. Updated GFS and ECMWF runs through September 2 will further narrow the range ahead of market resolution.
