Current National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate a low near 61°F for Denver on September 3 under mostly clear skies and light winds, consistent with a strong high-pressure ridge promoting radiational cooling after daytime highs in the low 90s. Trader sentiment remains closely split between the 72°F-or-higher and 53°F-or-below outcomes because overnight minimums in the Front Range depend sensitively on exact dew-point depression, boundary-layer mixing, and any subtle increase in high clouds or drainage winds. Historical September averages near 54°F highlight how the current warm pattern elevates the floor, yet small forecast shifts in these variables could easily move the realized low several degrees in either direction before resolution.
