**Trader sentiment for the lowest temperature in Dallas on September 3, 2026, clusters tightly around 76–81°F because official forecasts from the National Weather Service, WeatherBug, and local models converge on overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 70s.** Persistent late-summer heat and high humidity limit radiational cooling, with southerly to southeasterly winds (5–15 mph) advecting warm, moist air from the Gulf. Recent model runs show mostly clear to partly cloudy skies overnight on the 2nd–3rd, yielding projected minima of 77–79°F at DFW/Love Field stations. This places the 78–79°F bin (38.5% implied probability) slightly ahead of 80–81°F (34.5%) and 76–77°F (26%), reflecting minor model spread in cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing rather than any major shift in the synoptic pattern. Historical September 3 averages (around 74°F) are exceeded due to the ongoing heat wave, but no strong cold front or significant precipitation is expected to alter the outcome before resolution.
