The closely matched market odds for Denver's September 10 low temperature reflect substantial short-term forecast uncertainty typical of early fall in the Front Range. National Weather Service and model guidance show a transitional pattern where diurnal cooling under clear skies could drive readings into the low 50s or below via strong radiative losses at 5,280 feet elevation, while warmer advection ahead of a weak trough keeps the minimum above 70°F. Ensemble spreads from GFS and ECMWF highlight variable steering flow and cloud cover as key variables that could shift outcomes by several degrees before the 48-hour window closes. Historical September minima average near 48–52°F, underscoring how modest changes in overnight conditions separate the clustered 52–69°F bins from the dominant tails.
