Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance indicate minimum temperatures in Los Angeles on September 25 will likely fall in the upper 60s to low 70s under partly cloudy conditions with a strengthening marine layer and light onshore flow. This forecast consensus, consistent with climatological norms near 62°F, underpins trader positioning around the 78°F-or-higher outcome while assigning meaningful probability to cooler bins below 60°F amid typical model spread and potential for enhanced nocturnal cooling if the marine layer deepens earlier than expected. Historical records show September 25 lows ranging from 52°F to the mid-70s, highlighting the role of variable coastal stratus and wind patterns in driving short-term uncertainty two days before resolution.
