Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model runs point to an overnight low near 68–70°F in Los Angeles on September 24, driven by persistent above-average sea-surface temperatures along the coast, a weak marine layer, and light easterly winds that limit radiative cooling. These conditions have produced consecutive nights with minima in the mid-to-upper 60s, elevating the 68–69°F bin to the highest implied probability. Uncertainty remains from variable fog timing and urban heat-island effects that can shift the precise minimum by 1–2°F. Updated NWS guidance and higher-resolution model runs expected over the next 48 hours will likely tighten the range ahead of market resolution.
