Official observations from National Weather Service stations, including Denver International Airport, recorded a daily maximum of 88–89°F on September 10 under clear skies, light winds, and very low humidity that favored strong daytime heating without afternoon convection. This aligned closely with the final model consensus and climatological norms for early September, when average highs reach the low 80s but can climb higher during dry, sunny spells. Trader consensus reached near-certainty because the measurement window closed with no qualifying revisions possible under standard resolution criteria. Only an unexpected post-event data correction or station-specific anomaly would alter the outcome.
