Recent forecast model consensus for Mexico City on September 23 points to afternoon highs in the mid-20s Celsius, supporting the 76% market-implied probability for 26°C or higher. High-altitude subtropical highland conditions typically moderate temperatures, yet current patterns show limited cloud cover and light winds allowing greater solar heating during peak hours, consistent with recent daily maxima near 24–25°C. Light rain chances (around 50–60% in some runs) may not fully suppress peaks if timing favors clearer periods. Historical September averages hover near 22–23°C, but short-term observations indicate a slight warm bias without strong frontal cooling. Traders are monitoring updated local service and global model runs for final confirmation before resolution.
