Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent model consensus from agencies including the Met Office and AccuWeather positions 31–32°C as the most likely maximum for coastal Tel Aviv on August 19, aligning with the market’s heavy weighting toward those outcomes. Persistent subtropical high pressure and typical Mediterranean sea-breeze circulation are expected to maintain temperatures near or slightly above the long-term August average high of 30–31°C, with ensemble guidance showing minimal spread and no incoming heat dome or anomalous subsidence. Overnight recovery and humidity levels remain within climatological norms, while the absence of stronger northerly flow or Saharan air intrusions limits upside risk to 33°C or higher. Tomorrow’s updated model runs represent the key near-term catalyst that could shift implied probabilities before resolution.
