Current forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency and ensemble models indicate a low near 23–24°C in Tokyo on September 15, driven by a frontal system bringing widespread rain, high humidity, and a shift to northerly flow that limits daytime heating and nocturnal cooling. This aligns with climatological norms for mid-September, when average overnight lows typically range 22–23°C amid frequent showers. The market-implied probabilities—led by 23°C at 37%—reflect trader consensus on these model outputs, with 22°C and 24°C as close alternatives given forecast uncertainty bands of roughly ±1°C. Official Tokyo station data will determine resolution, and the next model runs or JMA updates could shift odds if rain timing or wind patterns change.
