Official observations from National Weather Service stations in Houston recorded a daily maximum of 94-95°F on September 11, 2026, aligning precisely with pre-event model consensus from NOAA and local forecasts calling for low- to mid-90s highs under typical late-summer southerly flow and high humidity. This outcome sits modestly above the 1991-2020 climatological average near 90°F for the date, with no major frontal passages, tropical systems, or anomalous steering patterns to alter temperatures. Trader consensus at near-certainty reflects verified station data rather than projections; revisions remain possible only in rare cases of post-analysis corrections or station-specific discrepancies, though multi-site agreement makes such shifts improbable.
