Official forecasts from the UK Met Office and supporting models indicate a maximum of 23–24°C in London on September 23 under sunny intervals and light westerly winds within a warmer-than-average late-September pattern driven by high pressure. Recent observations show persistent mild maritime air and minimal cloud cover through midweek, supporting trader consensus around these values while allowing limited upside to 25°C if breaks strengthen. Cloud and showers arriving later in the day introduce uncertainty that caps higher probabilities, consistent with ensemble spreads and historical September maxima near 22°C. Updated model runs and Met Office briefings expected before resolution will refine the peak.
