Seasonal norms place August highs near 31–32°C, but a normal-to-above-normal temperature outlook for August–October 2026 and reduced rainfall chances could allow brief clearing that pushes readings to 34°C, consistent with the 22.5% odds. Persistent cloud cover or showers, as observed in recent days, remain the main downside risks that could cap the peak at 32°C. Traders are weighting the consensus model guidance and historical analogs heavily ahead of the official daily maximum recording.
