Current forecasts from sources including WeatherBug and LAX observations place the September 3 high in Los Angeles near the 1991–2020 climatological average of 76.7°F, with most guidance showing 76–80°F under typical marine-layer influence and onshore southwest flow. This consensus, consistent with recent days’ mid-70s to low-80s readings and absent any strong offshore or heat-wave signals, underpins the market’s heavy weighting toward the 76–77°F bin at 49%. Model agreement remains high for this narrow range two days out, though small revisions in boundary-layer moisture or wind could shift the peak by a degree or two before resolution.
