National Weather Service forecasts from Miami-South Florida project a high near 89–91°F for August 30 under persistent easterly flow and a moist tropical air mass typical of late summer. Afternoon thunderstorm chances (50–70% probability) may briefly limit peak heating through cloud cover and evaporative cooling, yet heat indices near 106°F confirm the underlying warmth. Historical averages for the date hover around 90°F, with recent model runs showing little deviation and no incoming fronts to alter steering patterns or moisture. Trader emphasis on the 90–91°F bin aligns with this consensus, while modest probabilities for 92–93°F reflect upside potential if convection remains suppressed. Updated NWS guidance and hourly observations will refine these implied probabilities ahead of resolution.
