KMT nominee Chang Chia-chun leads the Yunlin County Magistrate race with an 83.5% implied probability in the market, reflecting her March 2026 party nomination and the county's historical voting patterns ahead of the November 28, 2026 local elections. As a sitting legislator, she benefits from established KMT organizational support and limited reported opposition from other parties at this stage. Liu Chien-kuo trails at 7.5%, consistent with his focus on a separate legislative by-election rather than a magistrate bid. Trader consensus prices in these structural factors, including incumbency advantages for aligned candidates and the absence of major nomination shifts or scandals in the past 30 days. Late candidate entries or primary outcomes could still adjust positioning before registration closes.
