Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on August 29 project a sunny, hot day with a high near 102°F under persistent high pressure, light southeast winds, and minimal cloud cover, aligning with the market's leading 60.5% implied probability for 100-101°F. These conditions reflect typical late-August patterns in North Texas, where daytime heating under clear skies often produces highs in this range amid dew points supporting heat indices above 105°F. Recent model consensus shows little shift from prior days' observed maxima near 100-101°F, with low precipitation chances reinforcing the outlook. Traders appear to weigh the tight clustering of forecasts around 101-102°F against minor uncertainties in exact maximum timing and local microclimates that could nudge the official reading into adjacent bins.
