Recent forecasts from the National Weather Service and local outlets indicate a cold front will deliver cooler, cloudier conditions to Denver on September 15, 2026, with highs projected in the low-to-mid 70s amid scattered thunderstorms and overcast skies. This follows several days of 80s–90s readings, so the front sharply reduces solar heating and caps daytime maxima near or below seasonal averages around 79°F. Trader consensus clusters on 72–75°F because model runs show modest spread in peak timing and storm coverage, while lower or higher bins reflect uncertainty over whether breaks in clouds or delayed convection allow brief additional warming. Updated National Weather Service guidance and radar trends through early afternoon will likely tighten the range before resolution.
