AS (Apvienotais saraksts) holds the strongest position in trader consensus for the October 3, 2026 Saeima election due to its role in the current caretaker government formed in late May after the prior coalition collapsed amid drone incidents and security tensions. Recent June polling shows AS at 17.1%, ahead of LPV, SV, and other parties in a fragmented field where multiple groups hover near or above the 5% threshold. The incumbent prime minister's visibility, combined with the four-party coalition's parliamentary majority, has supported AS momentum in the final campaign stretch. LPV and SV trail as competitive challengers in voter surveys, while smaller lists face steeper barriers to leading seat totals. Scheduled advance voting and manual ballot counting add procedural focus but have not shifted the overall positioning.
