Forecast consensus for Seattle's September 9 minimum centers on mid-50s Fahrenheit, with 54-55°F and 56-57°F bins each holding 34.5% market-implied odds, driven by clear skies and northerly flow under high pressure promoting efficient radiational cooling overnight. Recent model runs show little disagreement, with dew points near 12-13°C and light winds limiting mixing, aligning closely with the 54.2°F climatological average low for the date. Traders appear to weigh the narrow spread between these outcomes against potential minor forecast adjustments from final National Weather Service updates before resolution, while lower-probability bins reflect limited downside risk absent incoming moisture or cloud cover.
