Current model consensus from the National Weather Service and major guidance favors overnight lows in the mid-70s for Austin on September 21, with dew points near 70–72°F and light southerly flow limiting radiational cooling. Trader sentiment clusters around 72–75°F as the implied probability leader because recent runs show minimal overnight cloud cover or wind shifts that could allow further cooling to the low 70s, while persistent warm advection keeps the floor above 70°F. Key variables include exact sky cover and any late-day moisture return, which could shift the minimum by 2–3°F. Updated NWS point forecasts and next model cycles will likely refine these thresholds before resolution.
