The Taschereau riding in the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election remains closely contested among Québec solidaire incumbent Étienne Grandmont, Liberal Farnell Morisset, PQ candidate Christian Savard, Conservative Eliot Estévez-Verville, and CAQ's Brigitte Martin. Projections from multiple forecasters show QS leading on popular vote and win probability in this urban Capitale-Nationale district, where it has held the seat since 2018, but the race stays tight because of vote fragmentation across parties and limited polling specific to the riding. Recent developments include the August 27 writ drop, PQ's rapid candidate turnover after excluding Vincent Marissal, and provincial trends favoring the PQ overall while QS maintains a local base. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing captures uncertainty over turnout, late campaign shifts, and how national party momentum translates to this specific contest.
