Recent NWS updates highlight widespread highs in the 80s this weekend amid dry conditions, a warming trend from earlier 79°F guidance on April 9 as the ridge strengthens. Differentiating factors include minor model divergences on afternoon cloud cover and urban heat effects at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the resolution station; GFS and similar runs vary by 1-2°F.
