This aligns with National Weather Service forecasts projecting highs near 80°F amid a post-frontal boundary layer capped by cooler air masses and mostly cloudy skies that limited solar heating below April climatological norms of 83°F. Ensemble models like GFS had converged on subdued daytime peaks earlier in the week, reflecting low uncertainty as the event unfolded. Realistic challenges would require a rare quality-control revision in the final NWS Climatological Report, such as an equipment anomaly, though historical precedents show such adjustments are minimal for routine conditions. Traders await the CLI summary for formal closure.
