Persistent marine stratus from a cool Pacific air mass, driven by northwest onshore flow, capped diurnal heating with minimal solar insolation, aligning precisely with National Weather Service model guidance showing overcast conditions and highs in the low-to-mid 60s°F—consistent with April climatology averaging 63°F. Realistic challenges are minimal, limited to rare post hoc data corrections from sensor validation, as preliminary reports match hourly logs amid typical spring "May Gray" patterns.
