Current National Weather Service guidance and supporting model runs point to a Sunday high in Denver near 90°F, with a 30% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, amid a modest cooling trend from recent mid-90s readings. Trader consensus clusters in the upper 80s to low 90s because ensemble spreads and local variability in cloud cover, moisture, and convective timing can shift peak temperatures by several degrees; earlier or more widespread storms reduce solar heating and cap the high, while clearer conditions allow stronger afternoon warming along the Front Range. Updated model runs and NWS briefings through the weekend remain the key near-term catalysts.
